Ok techn this isn't a band story but it does show how being a U2 fan is like being its own nationality lol.
I went to Slane back early 2002 and I was happy to see the castle but at first the rooms that you see in the video were off limits because of a fire that had happened a few months before but the damage wasn't bad and they had redecorated since...
Anyway one of the tourguides after hearing I was a fan and asking me to keep it quiet let me in the rooms you see them recording in during the Pride video......I was stunned she did it and found out she was at the first Slane show the year before......perks of working there maybe lol
Anyway I just thought Id post this to show that fans recognize other fans
