EXIT IN LAS VEGAS: Pics and more!
EXIT is back and rocking after Affa, Captive and Dim's trip to Ireland. In the span of 24 hours, Captive and Dim got off a plane, rehearsed, drove to Las Vegas and played to several thousand people at the 92.3 FM KOMP Kegger at Sunset Station.
The concert was a great success. I can't count the number of times people stopped EXIT after the show and in the casino to congratulate them and get an autograph. What was more impressive is that people were most excited about EXIT's future and hearing their original music. Lots of new fans were made from across the country. The band thanks you all for your support, especially the regulars who made the long drive out from L.A.!
I had the opportunity to get behind the stage and see things from EXIT's point of view. Watching EXIT play to a sea of humanity was surreal. People were pressed up against the stage to see EXIT just like they were to see U2 during the Elevation tour. This time, EXIT were looking down at their fans instead of up to their idols. I had to blink a few times and shake my head... freaky, man. I remember their first gig at a U2 party in a suburban den, now they're playing to thousands.
