Bono's Bible (Psalms) Intro Needed ...

Anyone know where I can find the full text of Bono's introduction to the pocket-sized Book Of Psalms published by Grove Press back in 1999? I did remember Bono comparing King David to Elvis. Just wondering if anyone still has that introduction.

Cheers,

J

I actually have that book on my shelf right now, but the intro would be awfully long to type out. However, the part where Elvis is mentioned says:

Quote:
David was a star, the Elvis of the bible, if we can believe the chiselling of Michelangelo (check the face - but I still can't figure out this most famous Jew's foreskin).
He also mentions Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Gavin Friday, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, among other people and things.

Jolly good read. However, the link lead me to the news page at atu2.com, so I'm mad that I read the Sacramento Bee Datebook every day and somehow managed to miss a recent article about a U2 dance tribute. Sounds pretty interesting........

Psalms intro

It's been posted several times on this board. I just found it in "The Goal is Soul" forum. It's a great forum, you all should check it out.
