So....I haven't been around these parts in awhile. Does anyone know if Bono is ever going to act in a major movie? I'd bet he could act well.


Also....just wanted to say "hi" to everyone, as I've been absent.

You could see him for a bit in The Million Dollar Hotel...and wasn't he offered a role in a Batman movie that he turned down?

Seriously, though, I know Bono has turned down movie parts. I'll be surprised if he ever does act in a big movie. He seems to be quite focused on his music and political activity.

But I doubt he'd ever take a lead role in a film.

I once heard the rumor that Peter Jackson has offered Bono a role in "The Lord of the Rings". (Bono as a kind of minnesinger)

But the second and the third part have already been filmed, right?

But imagine Bono as an minnesinger in "The Lord of the Rings"!

Could have been the role of his life! (and a quiet small one too)

I could not imagine that he said no.

Maybe it was just a rumor .................

or he wasn`t good enough.

(But I guess that there are thousands of other possibilities)
