I think someone mentioned that the liner notes mention additional recording in 2008 so it is possible that he added vocals or at least some over dubs. There hasn't been any official word that I know of though. But yes his voice lately has been awesome. Did you hear the Nelson Mandela birthday song?

I think Bono's voice has greatly improved since he started working with Pavarotti. Maybe it's the classic operatic style that changed his voice, who knows. But I love it now.

To my ears, I agree those are definitely recent Bono vocals on ATTTTG. He sounds good, I really like the song. And I like the fact that for a change the vocals arent mixed too far up front and loud. One of my big gripes with alot of the recent stuff is how loud and dry the vocals are.

Mix Bono back a little with some atmosphere, yah like that!
