I played the official new CD for the first time this evening on my Dad's hifi, I'm currently housesitting for them whilst they are sunning themselves up in the Mediterranean somewhere.

My Dad has a BOSE hifi with a digital clock thingy on the front, as the CD finished and I went to eject it, the clock displayed 8:08, but being digital it actually looked more like BOB as in Bob Hewson.

I had to do a double-take when I noticed it. A little bit spooky.

Hehe, I wish I could blame it on something like that - except I'm squeaky clean in that department

I know it was just literally the time and am not making anything else of it other than that - but it just momentarily made me go 'whoa', especially with the likes of the beautiful SYCMIOYO ringing in my ears and Bono saying the album should really be called How To Dismantle An Atomic Bob.

Oh well, maybe I'm just a bit with all the U2 goodness around just now
