China!

Well, no real big loss there. Much as I like the place, it's the countryside, the valleys and canyons that I love, the small villages and towns that probably no longer exist.

I believe BoMac said that Wanglik is indeed a small town - he's been to it. It's not large enough to have an article written about it on the English Wikipedia yet anyway!

We really are very short on Asian locations, though. Without checking the masterlist, off the top of my head, we've just hit Cumbum, Saddam Hussein Town, and Wanglik. I don't suppose you know anywhere that brings the lulz? Bangkok is an obvious one ...

Yeah, Bangkok is really the most obvious one. Can't think of many others at the moment, although surprisingly, the name "Kuala Lumpur", the capital of Malaysia, can roughly translate to "muddy place".

Ha. I'm sure Japan will turn up some good names starting with 'Fuku' if I looked ...

Yeah, there's probably that. Or there's probably some place starting with Wang in China...

Actually, there's a road between my house and the city somewhere that's called "Hiscock Road". So, uh, you wouldn't want to be living in number 8 on that street... You'd never get taken seriously.

In other news, The Dark Knight is surely the best film to come out this year, if not nearly this decade.

The Cubs have a baseball player by the name of Kosuke Fukudome. When I went to the opening day game back in March, there was a lady (very inebriated) who would yell out everytime he was at bat "FUCK YOU! DO ME!"

Yeah, I used to know lots of "Confucius says" jokes, but can't remember them now...
