I probably drove enough miles to make it around the world several times using that method when Sarah was a baby.

We had this onesie type of outdoor covering thing for Maddy. We'd put her in the stroller and walk around the neighborhood. Usually worked well. Some of those walks were quite long And hubby was in charge of the driving portion. But yeah, bouncing up and down definitely works, many times better than the rocking chair. Maybe try some happy music and dance around with her
