Tell me about your GPS.

Any kind. We have some extra Christmas cash, and we're thinking of getting a GPS for the hell of it.

What do you have?

I don't have one, but if you get one you can Geocache!

http://www.geocaching.com/

We played one in Washington, NC and it was kinda fun - helps you get out in the fresh air and do some sight-seeing.

I've used it on a golf cart...tells you how far you are from the green; its very accurate.

That geocaching site was cool! It gave me some good info on GPS units too.

If you haven't bought one yet, and have a laptop or PDA I highly recommend getting an Earthmate and Street Atlas USA. http://www.delorme.com/

Of all the GPS products I've used and looked at, this is the best bar none, and certainly not the most expensive either...
