I've learned not to look here till after I see the latest episode:wink:

Out of respect for my west coast peeps, I usually don't post until the PST broadcast is over.

Even if all the women get rid of all the men, they'll still have to deal with each other. Cirie, I feel, is the most dangerous player. She's playing the game very well so far. I'm rooting for James, but he's the next player with a big target attached to him.

they will probably go after Jason
pretty soon

which is too bad

all of the challenges are not physical
so James and Jason could be taken out easy enough

James will probably do himself more harm by being too upset about Ozzy being gone.

one more thing on Ozzy
he sealed his own fate
with voting Amy out and keeping a fan in her place

how can he bitch about some favorites doing the same thing he did
what a weak suck
well, he will always have the idol (not played) to show how great he is

What is funnier than a fake idol being played?

I'll bite because you're watching the same show as myself....

A: A real idol not being played

Yep, Jason will go next. The preview tried to make it look like Parvati is going after James but that would make the scene of her trying to win him back over excessively needless. Jason's the big immunity threat and the foxy lady needs to remove a fan, pronto.

The ever-so cryptic written preview for the next episode mentions Exile Island as a "blessing in disguise"...idol must've been relocated.

that is my answer, too

God help us
if we end up having one player *not* playing three idols.
(it could happen)

So Down Periscope is on, and I recognized a voice. I look over and its Jonathan Penner!! How come I didnt know he was an actor and in some pretty famous movies :der:

Wow. Nominated for an Oscar for Best Short Film...Down On The Waterfront from 1993

Starred and produced The Last Supper. Was a one-off actor on two of TV's greatest comedies - Seinfeld/Arrested Development. Did a comedy bit on Craig Kilborn's late night show. Strange how in Cook Islands it just said "writer" and in this season he's listed as "writer/producer" as if Survivor went to his head and he moved to Hollywood when it was really the other way around.

And I'm guessing The Last Supper is why he's referred to as Jonathan Christ over at Survivor Sucks...boy is he worshiped over there by some, ahem, let's call them "heavily devotional" people.

Damn, I'm surprised you didn't know. That's why Jeff always called him Penner, because his last name had already been disclosed due to him being in the entertainment industry. I really liked him in The Last Supper, a wacky indie flick from the mid-90's. I think Cameron Diaz was in that one too.

Penner isn't the only to have some credit in the *cough* entertainment industry according to rumours I've read...

And for pure speculation, if Jason made it to the end, despite being not well liked, do you think he'd have a shot at winning?
Afterall, he's somehow saved his ass a few times and has been impressive in challenges....
Could he beat Shallow in a vote?

I'm not sure who I want to win now either...:hmm:

I don't think he'll make it, but I'm still fond of James. He just seems like a nice guy...
I still love how e threw done that one guy in that mud wrestling challenege when the other guy had thrown some gal on her head (names are leaving me at the moment)

And seriously, he's a walking caricature ...he's a grave digger, and then the straw hat, some of his mannerisms....
never fails to amuse me

Somethin wrong, Sicilicious?

Wild guess says she hated Jerri. But, who didn't?

I think CBS should have a special Most Hated Survivors episode and, of course, Jerri would be there. Then that fool Fairplay would be there too. I hope CBS steals my idea.

That would be sort of cool. Or instead a fans vs. favs have a loved vs. hated season. That or stick the survivor all stars in the big brother house and the BB all stars on an island someplace and see how they do.

We know the last names of everyone before the premiere so Jonathan's not an anomaly. Check out Wikipedia. Now, he might've asked to be called by his last name because of another Jonathan (Fairplay) or because he wants to get his name out there.

Concerning the entertainment stories, yes, our lord and savior Brian Heidik (Greatest to ever play the game) was in a few pornos. But he's not the only one...a certain Mr. Lusth that was blindsided last week has appeared in soft-core productions.

Ok, Amanda is the stupidest player ever! This was her opportunity to turn the game around and put herself in the mastermind position... and she blew it! Does she really think that sticking with all these backstabbing girls is the right move for her? She is clearly the 5th member of their alliance! When James asked her if she had any ideas, she said she couldn't come up with anything. I seemed pretty simple to me. Amanda and James go to Jason and tell him that Natalie is backstabbing him and they all know he has the idol, because she went through his bag. Then they tell him that Parvati admitted that the girls were going to pick off the guys one by one. Jason would have no choice but to believe them and play his idol. They get Jason and Erik to vote with them for Parvati, all the while acting like they're going along with the women's plan. Then when Jason plays his idol, Parvati is gone and Amanda has the numbers with her alliance of guys, who have really done nothing to win the game this far. But instead, she chose to let Parvati, Natalie and Cirie stay in control of the game, which basically gives her no shot of winning the million. She's a follower and she's too scared to make a move in the game. After she started off the episode acting all badass like things were gonna change. Whatever.

This is exactly what I was thinking...seriously, up til the very end i thought the bitches plan was going to fall through! Why would James not try to get at least the guys all voting together...can't he see the girls are after the guys! argggggggh:mad:

I too was disappointed that Amanda didn't act tonight, but let's be fair - the guys (James and Erik) were just as stupid as her for not doing anything, either. They know they're next - why not convince Amanda that this needs to be done? It's obvious by now that Amanda won't take the initative, so put the idea in her head for her.

They rolled over and died just as much as she did...

I missed part of the episode, so I'm not entirely clear on the planning that went down.
But, who, besides Jason, voted for James?
Did they do that as an assurance in case Jason played the idol?

Cause otherwise, if everyone had voted for Jason. Except for Jason voting for James, and James voting for Parv. And if Jason had then played the idol...that would have been awesome.
Even better if he had gotten someone else to vote for Parv too.
(which he did suggest at one point)

But yeah, I think they're pretty fucked now. How did the girls convince Erik to go along with them? I thought he was still with the scattered remnants of the Ozzy alliance...

And whoo boy did Ozzy looked thrilled to be there. heh

I need to catch this ep online somewhere, I feel like I missed sooo much
