Supergrass

Why do I have "Alright" on my computer with no recollection of ever downloading it? Why do I it so if I've never heard it before? Who are these people? (Besides being Brit-pop, which is all I've ever managed to figure out so far)....what else do they sing?

I love Supergrass and want to protect them.

I have a badge that says that.

I love them because Ed Harcourt toured with them and they took funny backstage pictures while drunk.

they're from Oxford, I believe, together with Radiohead

their lead singer has the beautifully Brit name of Gaz

'Alright' is one of the best songs ever

pity I don't know any others

but they have a tune called 'Richard III' which is also quite brilliant

they've toured with Pearl Jam

Supergrass, I believe, means 'good weed'

the infamous Elvis Presley from Interference.com and I saw them this summer in Chicago. They are a WONDERFUL live band in addition to their recorded music. I am a big fan.

They toured with Radiohead too this past Fall in North America.

Oxford puts forward some of my favorite bands.

Yeah! That's where I've heard of them before! They were good.

I really like Supergrass too. My fave song of theirs is "Grace."

"Well you ate our chips, and you drank our Coke..."

Yeah, I think they meant to reference that in their name, and i've also heard they got it from the 'supergrass' which were British Police informants too...I've heard of 'supergrass' mostly in terms of Northern Ireland.
