That was a hell of a show to lose it for.

I remember Bono climbing up to the loge level with a pole/white flag.

And then jumping down from there? I was there. That's the first U2 show I can clearly remember being at. I've been told we went to see them at the Palladium, but I don't think I can remember it. I do remember Romeo Void as the opening act, but that's it.

I was talking with some friends last night and we decided that the Rattle & Hum movie ruined U2 concerts for us. Cause while their performances are as good as ever, we always go to the show hoping for the Sunday Bloody Sunday experience from that movie and it never seems to happen.

The closest I've come was the show at ND to open up Elevation 3.

Comments: For the last of four nights in Chicago, and with the film cameras off, U2 throws its setlist in the blender. 'Vertigo' opens a show for the first time. 'All Because of You' and 'Original of the Species' are played in the main set for the 1st time. 'Until the End of the World' makes its Vertigo Tour debut. The show closes with 'Bad', which gets extended with several snippets, finally wrapping up with a bit of '40', the traditional show closer this tour.
