Rippers???????

I have a question for you all- what is the best ripper to use??? I want one that is free, very fast and easy to use- anyone got any suggestions

well I suppose that would all depends on what you're trying to rip...
cd's? dvds? playstation? paper? phone directories?
Be more specific man!
