Transmissions from the Satellite Heart is still my Flaming Lips album of choice. Clouds Taste Metallic and Soft Bulletin are right up there and then Embryonic.

"How Can You Really" is a shaggy jam. I've heard it about 1,000 times on Sirius XMU. Maybe my brain is conditioned to dig it now.

"Shaggy" is a good way to describe it. It sounds like it's about to fall out of tune and rhythm at any second.

Are we talking about Shaggy?

I always thought this number was overrated:

But this song remains an all-time classic favorite, to this day:

And who can forget:

And wasn't it shitty of Janet Jackson not to let the version of this one onto Shaggy's album? What a shame, could've helped him sell more units, and then maybe he'd be more of a household name, than a wisp of a nostalgia memory:

There, that should tide you all over with some Shaggy lovin' for a while.

Heads up gang I harvested every email from the request and discussion threads and signed you all up for tranny porn sites

Sent from my ass crack

I actually thought about spamming a couple that kept doing it in the Crystal Ballroom thread.

Instead, I called their churches.

I was surprised by how bearable it was. Robert still looks ridiculous, but it seems like he may have lost weight? And they were having a great time, that was clear.

OK...<>'s most recent thread looked absolutely crazy at first, but as it goes on, it's more insane than I ever could have imagined.

The hell?

Oh. That IS Robert Smith. I just saw the picture + 2 and thought...never mind

You guys, I'm probably gong to get a cocktail at the bar we're going to tonight (to see Black Joe Lewis). How much does one tip a bartender for a cocktail?

$1 per drink is pretty standard, I think. I give $2 if some artistry went into making it.

I mentioned it last night, but I backup Pitchfork's review of Ex Hex. Enjoyable album.

Also, not enough talk of Caribou's new album. It is also enjoyable.
