Brau, why is it so hard for you to believe that anybody could actually like Kid A or Amnesiac or HTTT simply because they enjoy the music?

An album out for a week better than The Bends.

It's like saying you're gonna marry the first girl you nail. Naive.

Haha. It's true, but everyone does it here with new U2 as well. "It's the third masterpiece! Up there with JT and Achtung!"

Well, indirectly.

If liking Kid A makes one a "fake hipster," what makes a real "hipster" then?

Brau is always angry after AA.

HTDAAB is GREAT album. There I said it.

I respectfully disagree. I think it's a pale shadow of records like Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, War, Unforgettable Fire, Rattle And Hum, Zooropa, and Pop.

It's funny isn't it?

You really get a great sense of those caught up in HYPE. The hipsters. Anything to be cool.

Read these threads.

Hysterical and informing.

HTDAAB a great album? :lmao:

You shouldn't really be laughing...especially since the majority of U2's fanbase and professional critics disagree with you.

The Bomb = a great collection of songs, but not a great album.

In Rainbows = a great collection of songs, but not a great album; until the "bonus" disc comes out, this remains to be seen.

Hit the record store tomorrow.

Getting musical advice from you is like getting sex tips from a virgin.

But the advice you gave me worked.

Ability to post one liners and insult people does not equal good music taste.
