-- sorry about the extended final time, but I can't get on in time tomorrow, as I'll be out. however this leaves more time for people to vote, we'll make all the finals two days.

Jugband Blues for sure. Set the Controls is so absolutely superior that's its gone from funny to not funny to funny again.

I don't know what it is about Set the Controls... my mates reckon it's boring as all shit, and I see where they're coming from, but there's something irrestitable about it.

More participation in the actual threads people!!

Let There Be More Light  (I love the song, but I love Set The Controls even more.)

"Witness the man who raves at the wall"

I'm going with Set The Controls because...

a. More Light is more interesting musically.

b. More Light has lyrics that are equally good but not stolen from a book of Chinese verse or a William Burroughs novel.

c. More Light is not as repetitive as STC.

So I'm guessing the title of Set The Controls is what's being referenced in LCD Soundsystem's "All My Friends."

Now it makes sense.

Was watching the Pulse dvd this evening with the lights off.

Ugh...this is close. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of either. LTBML has a sweeeeet intro, but kind of falls apart as it goes on, while STCFTHOTS doesn't really build to anything. Hmm.

I'll throw LTBML a pity vote to keep things a bit closer.

All valid points you make there Zoots... but for me there's just something so captivating about Set the Controls that does it for me.

A brief The Wall review about to go up in the PF thread. :sexywink:

I'll put that up later on tonight... I think that's when I started this round. There might be another nine people that want to come in and smash Set the Controls yet. ;)
