"The End Is the Beginning Is the End," I believe. That was their gothy electronica phase... hit-or-miss for me. Decent song though, even if it's attached to that quivering piece of shit.

That title is horrible.

The song...maybe it doesn't quite suck so much as it doesn't sound like the Smashing Pumpkins I love.

1. Hard on Me ~ Tom Petty
2. The Rising (Live @ Dallas 2008) ~ Bruce Springsteen
3. Why Should I Be Sad ~ Britney Spears
4. Downfall ~ Matchbox 20
5. Heartbreaker ~ The Rolling Stones
6. Please [Interference Remix] ~ The Interferers
7. I Wanna Marry You ~ Bruce Springsteen
8. Goodnight Elizabeth ~ Counting Crows
9. Best I Ever Had ~ Vertical Horizon
10. Change Your Mind ~ The Killers

Fair enough.

Siamese Dream is a masterpiece; Mellon Collie is bloated and overwrought, but has some amazing songs in it; Adore is hit-or-miss, like I said; The Machina albums have probably my favorite set of SP songs ("Stand Inside Your Love," "Try, Try, Try" and "Let Me Give the World to You") amidst a lot of wanky crap.

And where does Screwy's beloved Zeitgeist fit into all this?

Oh man, I liked that when it was first released, but I've released that it's not the fucking Pumpkins - it's a Corgan/Chamberlin album with 2 other guys that vaguely sounds like guys trying to sound like the Pumpkins. That being said, "Tarantula" is a good song.

The production on that record is beyond horrible. It sounds like HTDAAB on viagra. I've never heard so many guitars crammed into one space so tightly.
