Wow. REM have really let me down. It seems to me like all their latest releases has the band swimming against the current.

Even this cover seems so understated.

I believe that electron blue ate Stipe's soul.

I have not heard this cover, yet, but I have a good feeling that the next REM record will break the spell that some feel has been their demise.
