The, uh, intimate scenes...

But, uh, I'm straight and thought that Trinity was hotter than Neo.

I thought it was...well, better than I thought it would be. The story was better in the first one, and although this one had a lot of twists and turns, the first one was still more surprising.

I think they're going to pull out more of the metaphysical bells and whistles in the 3rd movie. I don't think I can say much more without heading into Spoilerville.

I also thought the first one was better.

Visually, it is stunning. I was like "Wow, geek porn!"

Of course, I also had a LOUSY moviegoing experience, so maybe I enjoy it more if I saw it again.

The 3rd one looks better.

Hey, there is nothing wrong with girls liking Star Wars, Matrix and LotR. I do! [btw, Swallow you really saw the new trailer??!?!?!?!]

Liked the movie alot but a little too much action and a little too little explanation. What the hell was that architect dude talking about?

Back from watching it. Action scenes = , one of the most entertaining car chase sequences ever, if you can call it that.

I did find myself getting really bored in the beginning. I wasn't involved in the story at all. Things picked up when they left the ugly place with wires.

I sat through eight minutes of nu-metal music (although the RATM song kicked ass) with my mates to watch a two minute trailer. How fun is that?

My suspension of disbelief was frequently called into question, though. I'd elaborate but for spoilers.

Good film, preferred the first, want to see the next. It's the Star Wars of my generation, I expect. In 20 years time they'll have some prequel and 35-year old me will dress up in a black trenchcoat and sunglasses to go to a convention.

I can't say I was really impressed with reloaded. I had forgotten the storyline to the first movie so I watched it again, it's never a good thing to forget what an "epic" movie is about. So I went to see it with my brother who is impressed by pretty much anything fast paced.

The opening scene rolled right passed me. The whole Zion thing made me go "ohhhh k...", I actually thought I was watching "the ten commandments" when Morpheus was giving his speech. The whole crazy orgy scene was... uncomfortable in an exciting way and in a sickening way. I had no idea what that was all about.

I wasn't expecting much out of Keenu Reeves and pretty much got the same dull performance. The fighting scenes were okay, very fast and crazy, I don't think there was a lack of Mr. Smith in this movie.

The end of the movie just made me want it to end faster, the old guy in the room with the screens, is there any better way to make a movie boring and drawn out than to have an old man talk at the speed of a turtle? That part of the movie made me angrier than anything else.

But I appreciate the style and story they are trying to create, the movie shows much thought and time was put into it. And Monica Bellucci... ::blush:: I'm straight but ::blush::

I saw it and wasn't impressed. The first fourty minutes are enough to send you to sleep; the scenes in Zion would be at home in a third-rate Star Trek episode. The rave/sex scene was frankly ridiculous (I'm straight but sorry, I'd rather sleep with Trinity) and way too long. The movie livens up considerably starting from the Oracle scene and the freeway chase was first-class as was the truly mind-bending scene with the Architect. Unfortunately to get there I had to sit through some tedious repetitive fights and dodgy CGI shots that made the Smith brawl look like a video game. I'm still looking forward to the Revolutions, though.

I still am blown away by the action scenes in this movie.

Sure, the movie/plot/story itself isn't exacty stellar, but the action scenes are HANDS DOWN some of the best ever put into any movie.

I agree w/ you completely.

It's a very disappointing film compared to it's predecessor, but it has a few great moments and I'll certainly see the finale.
