MERGED ----> The Killers - Sam's Town

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

See, I'll pay more if I want it bad enough. Hypothetically, if Radiohead tickets were 90 dollars a piece, you better believe I'd be paying for it. I'd pay anything for my upper tier artists. But for artists I consider not my absolute favorites, they have to be within a reasonable price range. I'd like to go to this show, but I just think they aren't worth the 40 dollars that could probably sustain me through my various expenses (beer and food) for a couple weeks.

But I might change my mind, we'll see.

ok

I'm going crazy on how good I find BONES

and most of you say Bones is one of the bad songs?

I'm SO gonna buy this album

a friend goes to miami soon... and she must bring me

The killers - Sam's Town (and if she likes, Hot Fuss)
Muse - the last one, it doesn't matter, I'm loving them too
Sterophonics - The bartender and the thief
Keane - the last one, I don't remember the name
some CocaColas (just to compare  )

call it corny but i'm also quite a fan of interlude/exitlude

that litty boppity piano,
everyone singing,
and the simplicity of it
"it's good to have you with us.."

This is certainly going to be my beloved
guilty pleasure album...right next to pete yorn's
musicforthemorningafter.. a nice solid pop record.
explosive melodies..not exactly the most top notch lyrics, but it somehow works well for what it is.
this is coming from someone who finds all the hot fuss singles vile.

i'm quite loving bones, river is wild, reasons unknown, read my mind, bling sam's town..etc.

though i admit that uncle johnny seems pretty crap

but damn, that ''why do i keep counting'' in all its cheesy glory is pure magic from start to finish.

i've been listening to this album the last couple days on my morning walk and the infectious "help me get down, i can make it" chorus just about makes me pump my fist up and start dancing while singing at the top of my lungs.

if i only knew the answer....

Great video :D and I love the song too... They chose well (though I still think Brandon should cut of that moustache...) If they make another single it should be Bling, then I would have my 4 favourite songs of the album on singles...

Geez...it's been a while since the last post.

What shows is everyone going to? Just got my tickets for Nashville at the Ryman! Should be awesome at such a small venue.

I'm going tomorrow!!!
The Killers in Amsterdam!

Sam's town is so fantastic. I can't stop listening to it.
it blows Hot Fuss away!

Sam's Town
Enterlude/Exitlude

And what a fantastic voice Brandon has on For reasons unknown.
One of the best vocalists in the world today!
