It seems weird that Micky D's is 50...it seems like it been around longer here in Illinois...since the first one opened near where I live.

Hey, I grew up in Des Plaines, IL, where the first McDonald's is...are you in that area?

(technically, the first one was in California, but long-time owner Ray Kroc opened his first there outside Chicago)

I think I'm more north of you...I live in Hodgkins Illinois. And I do have a McDonalds near me...so that much is true...I think
