Consider this a much more lighthearted version of the desert island game (no uploading is required, but sharing songs via email is fine with me).

The goal is to make a playlist of dance songs, or rather, songs that you consider danceable, that is anywhere from 15-30 songs long. It could be for use at a party, club, or for your own personal use. :sexywink: Multiple artists are allowed.

The lists will probably vary quite a bit, as people all dance to very different kinds of music, which is the whole point, and will keep things interesting.

I'll start:

1. Funkadelic- One Nation Under A Groove
2. Beastie Boys - Shake Your Rump
3. LCD Soundsystem – Tribulations
4. Blur - Girls And Boys
5. Pulp - Common People
6. U2 - Do You Feel Loved
7. Sly And The Family Stone - Luv N' Haight
8. Beck - Nicotine & Gravy
9. Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body
10. Beastie Boys - Hey Ladies
11. The Go! Team – Get It Together
12. Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out
13. White Stripes - Ball And Biscuit
14. Beck - Mixed Bizness
15. Prince – It
16. Happy Mondays - Step On
17. Stone Roses - She Bangs The Drums
18. Primal Scream – Loaded
19. Supergrass - Pumping On Your Stereo
20. Beck - Peaches & Cream
21. Stevie Wonder - Higher Ground
22. Led Zeppelin - The Ocean
23. Prince - Purple Rain

Once a friend of mine asked me if I could compilate Madonna's songs with dance/up-tempo style.

COAD is fucking great to listen to when you're driving to the clubs at a friday night.

Heck, forget about driving to a club, I just want to find a club that will play the entire COADF so I can dance to it. ;-)

I was just going to list everything that’s on my iPod dance playlist (entitled “Dance, You Fool!”), but it’s apparently in sore need of some editing. So here’s a select selection. I’m just going to list them alphabetically, rather than staying up all night thinking hard about what the best track order should be.

You have to have some disco, some 80s, something funky, something cheesy ... hell, people. I'm a dancing fool. If it has a beat, I'll dance to it.
