Self-destructing... turnip?

*wrote "turpin" at first*

And for some reason, that kid laughing at the end of Orchidia is mildly freaky.

on both counts. Yeah, the child's laughter to conclude Orchidia certainly adds something to the mood ... it's an interesting lead into Futile, which is also fairly heavy but has vocals.

It's so RANDOM too. It seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the song. I suspect SW was very stoned.

Hope you enjoy FOABP.

I'm just having revenge for all that DI stuff that was going on before...

Normally I'd be doing the listening party thing over MSN or something, but I might as well spam the thread

Prefer In Absentia to FOABP so far... not that this is bad at all, just an observation...
Although Anaesthetise is promising, four minutes in.
*deliberately anglicises the spelling*

I like that logic.

I haven't used MSN in about two years now. AIM for the win!

I can't really decide which I prefer. On a pure song-by-song basis, I think I'd give IA the nod, but as an album experience, FOABP is fantastic. Anesthetize is the high point for me.

And YES, the spelling shits me. Especially since they're a British band! WTF, guys? I could understand Anaesthetize, as apparently the Oxford English Dictionary now recognises -ize as permissible (fools!), but the lack of the second 'a' is inexcusable.
