someone's alarm clock has been going off for the last hour. :crack: it's driving me crazy.

i'm glad it's friday, i can turn up music really loud and not get yelled at cos everyone else is partying louder anyway.

:sad: i just realized i'm listening to infamous jake for the first time since i found out they broke up. good memories. good memories.

actually, you know what's funny? i picked this subconsciously, but the first time i saw the band live, they closed with this song and dedicated it to candace's brother (and they called him a 'fucking cocksucker' so i get the impression insanity is genetic).

The seats are good, not great, but good. We are in the 7th row of the balcony in the Orpheum theatre which seats about 2000 or so. It really is a fantastic place to see a show :yes: It used to be an old movie theatre that was converted for live performances. I can't believe how fast the tickets sold.:ohmy:

i don't have a ramones shirt, so i played a half hour of ramones stuff on my show tonight. the creepy blues dj who does a show after me said he listened to it on the drive to the station and really enjoyed it :D

yeah, the summer went by insanly fast. and this last week dragged on forever, it felt like the longest week of my life.

i've had class or work pretty much every night since i've been here...dkm are playing a free show in boston at government center tomorrow. it finally set in that i will not be hopping a bus tomorrow and then hopping one back here later in the evening, since i have to work AGAIN :scream:.

yes it is a beautiful day in Mpls! So beautiful that I'm going to the Renaissance Festival in a few hours. :D If only I would have gotten out of bed a few hours ago I could have gone to the lake for a walk :drool: but it'll be too busy if I go now.

We had 69 tornados here last night. I don't know how many touched down, but a few did some pretty major damage.

Lots of rain and flooding, too.
 
holy shit!

we've got a fuckload of rain and wind...my window shades were blowing around all night, and it was raining really loud...

that DKM thing got postponed until tomorrow...meaning i'm still definetly not going...

things couldn't have been any worse, the yankees are winning 6-0, and my neighbors are listening to creed (and loudly :barf: )...but i found a DKM bootleg from a show they played in belgium really recently...so i'm listening to yet another version of 'tessie'. come on, sox!

I heard about that! Scary!! There were trees down along the highway today and I hadn't really thought it was THAT windy.

Someone came to work very depressed about the 14-4 game today. :( Come on Sox!!
 
She doesn't have a very good track record for showing up on time...:uhoh:
