I think what's happened is there's no market for really good hiphop/rap (i'm not really sure what the difference is) so no one hears it. It sure is out there though.. just check out stuff like quannum and blackalicious and jurassic 5.

I think rap refers to like the actual rhyming and hip-hop would be the whole thing together with the beats, scratching techniques and stuff, but then again...what do I know, eh?

I have a couple of Digable Planets mp3s. Listen to them sometimes when I'm feeling jazzy and stuff.
