Has anyone else heard of these dudes? I saw them on a show called New York Noise. I went out and bought their CD and they are some uppity-happy alt pop rock (not really sure how to describe them). I'm tempted to compare them to the Pixies meets (old) REM, but that falls short. Anyway, they're worth a listen.

their drummer's name is Mario Lopez - isn't that AC Slater from Saved by the Bell?

being the drummer for a rock band is certainly better than doing celebrity boxing like what Screech has been doing.
