That's what you get when your culture grows more and more adept at reading e-mails on a blackberry but won't read a book if you put a fucking gun to their head. Bitter? Me? Naw.....

Oh, it's very sad, the last note. The worst feeling is when it can rub off on yourself, I don't know if you ever get that, but I do a lot, not feeling like reading something of substance, too dull-minded because of technology. I think there's a thread about this sort of thing in FYM right now, but I would rather die than read it.

I can check from, and I do, but, I do it when I want to, as opposed to when my Blackberry shakes and whines and makes me. Maybe the difference is subtle. Also, people get fucking hooked on their blackberry...you'll be out to dinner and they're looking at every e-mail they get. Fucking stop. Fucking eat. Fucking converse. Fuck.

"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

i thought that too for a while, and when i looked at them i was bummed they weren't actually the colour of blackberries. they're just plain black like most phones.

my blackberry wasn't expensive at all, i have a pearl which is named so because the scroll button looks like a pearl when lit up it only cost me $150, but now they sell for $100.

yes, i said only...i have a thing about getting expensive phones. and i usually do so every 12-18 months

I read incessantly, so it has not had a major impact on me. I'm talking about fiction here, though, as opposed to substantive issues pertaining to real life, be they current or otherwise. But, I am sure that the advent of things like Wikipedia have robbed me of my willingness to go more in-depth on topics of interest to me.
