Most of the baseball fans on this forum are well informed, but you'd be amazed at how many you meet who claim to be hardcore fans and don't understand it. I work in the business, I know.

Ax, can you tell me why Bledsoe turned into Andy Reid during the Superbowl?

Bledsoe? Not sure how he was Andy Reid in SB. He's retired now, isn't he?

Bledsoe just makes me think of the Bledisloe Cup, sorry. Mmm, Bledisloe Cup. New Zealand owning Australia for the best part of a century.

Yay for classes in computer rooms.

However i'd best concentrate. I'll be home in about 3 hours.

Concentrating is over-rated. Postwhore it up instead.

that was a massive brain fart induced by i don't even know what.

did you know that pedro martinez either coined the term "brain fart" or at the very least brought it into my conciousness? I miss pedro.

I'm trying to not be too obviously postwhoring. Great thread title, btw

The next one will be Dubai. Not sure if we'll do Toronto though.

Belicheck got nervous and went ultra-conservative with his playcalling.

Reid just refuses to hand the ball off. He prefers the 2 yard pass.

I can't explain it. So easy to see, yet they don't get it.

for who?

(you're 17...and you had a math tutor this morning?)

Little league baseball for the past four years (still doing that), and, as of just recently, my high school's baseball team.

I'm good with stats, I suck at calculus. Hence, the math tutor.

Toronto is boring

Toronto can be left out.

Maybe we should find some town with a stupidly awful name nearby though.

Do you play for your HS?

No. I was never very good at baseball despite my love for it. I led the league in getting hit by pitches when I was 10, and spent all of my 11 year old year scared of getting hit by the pitch, and then dropped out at that point. I worked in umpiring for a little bit before I got into the announcing and whatnot.

I also referee basketball during the winter.

Calculus is easy. Paying attention to calculus is hard.
