< I have to agree about the rating...it was pretty scary for little ones and that "piss off" got a big gasp in my theater But overall I really enjoyed the movie...very entertaining!

they did well with adapting it to the allocated time slot, for sure. I think i'd have enjoyed it much more had I not read the book

kind of in the middle for me. Neither or .
They left out a really important part from the end, which let it down a little.
I do recommend seeing it though. It's a cool film (although kiddo's may need to cover their eyes at certain parts).
