Hehe. Once the new tour starts, I'll add "last performances of ..." to the Hawaii show, as by that point I'll only be listing probably 7 or so songs rather than over 20!

Dogs of War? Love it.
I'm trying to figure out what you're referencing here ... but I can't. Tiredness setting in?

I'm audibling then. I have both now. I'm only two minutes into Animals, so I'm stopping and going for Wish You Were Here.

The Shine On You Crazy Diamond I-V I got in DI was a different length than this one. Like four minutes longer on DI.

Yeah, I think he should do WYWH before Animals too, but when this came up on a previous thread, I was drowned out by a chorus of "go Animals" folk, along with Screwtape's "WYWH is the worst song in history" argument.

It's like picking between apple pie a la mode and cheesecake, you can't lose.

Hey guys, dropping in for a bit before the Magic game.

That mix is from the Best Of, which mixes a bit of the closing version of Shine On from the end of WYWH to the beginning.

Because that wasn't SOYCD I-V. Screwtape mislabelled it. It's ... shit, I can't remember exactly, SOYCD I-VII or something. I pointed this out in my running diary but he never addressed the matter.

Hey LMP.

Yeah - I actually prefer Animals myself, but I think WYWH is probably the more accessible one and a better introduction than 3 10+ minute tracks and a couple of bookends. I mean, SOYCD, HAC, and the title track? That's a winner. Unless you're Screwtape and you think WYWH is the worst song ever made, but luckily nobody else shares that opinion.

Pink Floyd song... I assumed that was what you meant when you were saying "Dogs", but I guess I was wrong.

Hehehe, I played a game or two of Magic when I was at Uni the first time. *nostalgia*

Ooh, that song on A Momentary Lapse Of Reason? I've listened to that ... once or twice. The only song on that album I really pay much attention to is Sorrow, the song that got me into the band in the first place.

I was referring to Dogs, the second track of the Animals album.

Welcome to the Machine is worse than anything on Animals or Meddle though, but you're probably right, WYWH is a good 2nd album.

When can he get The Division Bell?

SOYCD I-V is awesome. I think it's my second favorite PF track right now behind Time.

It's a good introduction into their longer tracks, too.

Who are the Magic playing? I haven't followed the NBA closely at all this year, due to my strong preference to the NCAA.

Yeah, that's the one...

I don't have Animals, obviously.

Hi LMP and anyone else who might have popped up...
