I finally saw the video. I have to say that I did not find one thing that reminded me of U2.

And for the song. The beginning has always bothered me. I love it when the full band comes in and Chris' sings in a lower octave.

Oh I loved the end of the video with the audience singing.

...saw the 'Fix You' video tonight. I'm actually getting tired of bashing them, because bashing is not my thing, ordinarily. We could talk about grand themes: like the death of originality, the fact that Chris Martin looks still dazed and strung-out from the his last album's backwards car wreck video, or Thom Yorke's accurate description of Coldplay as "lifestyle" music...I must really learn to stop while I'm ahead

i saw them live tonight.... they were awesome. although parts of the show reminded me of zoo tv, it still kicked ass. and, they rock out alot more than on the cds.
