Canada's most famous hockey mom passes away

Wayne Gretzky's mom, Phyllis, has lost her battle with lung cancer and has passed away at 64. My thoughts are with the Gretzky family this week.

Wow.
That was sooner than I expected to hear this news. When Wayne took his leave of absence over the weekend, I assumed she had a little more time.
Very sad. Way too young.
To quote the button my Dad used to wear..."Cancer sucks".
