"Supermassive Black Hole" is a groovetastic song, always gotten a kick out of it, even if it's less-rocking than other Muse tracks.

The segue into "Blackest Eyes" sucked, but I'm not a fan of the song either way, so it's a lose/lose there, sorry.

HOLIDAYS FUCK YEAH

As I'm now not pregnant anymore, and have half a bottle of wine left from the casserole for tonight's tea, I might join yas.

Fuck, it's been nearly a year since I had a drink.

I was also watching a show last night on CI, which was all about a bloke called Michael Johnson who was on deathrow in TX for shooting a man. Long story short, he suicided the evening before the execution, and the family of the victim were angry and felt cheated because the state didn't get the chance to end the Johnson's life and he'd gone out 'on his own terms' instead. It smacked so painfully of FYM that I almost couldn't watch the whole thing. They talked of being denied closure, etc. Arghh.....
It's going to be a tense election. The Nationals will unfortunately likely outpoll Labour, but because minority parties are so important in the Kiwi system, there's a good chance Labour could still form government if people like the Greens do well.

And good god. I wonder how these people would deal in the civilised world where the guy wouldn't be fried in the first place. I guess that for them, the Enlightenment is just something that happened to other people.

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."
