Luckily certain children weren't at the keyboard at the time.

Her "there are children in the room Axver" is one of the funniest comments I've read on this board. :lmao:

that was a good one :lmao:

my brother is an idiot. at least he got the right band...remind me to laugh at him the next time i see him. he claims the who are his favorite band, yet he doesn't know who are you from baba o'riley. still, he doesn't think it's called teenage wasteland, so things could be worse.
There's more than one CSI show, and they all use Who songs for their themes:
CSI's theme song is "Who Are You", written by Pete Townshend of The Who as the title track of their 1978 album. The show's spinoffs also use Who songs as their theme songs, "Won't Get Fooled Again" for CSI: Miami and "Baba O'Riley" for CSI: NY, both recorded by The Who in 1971.
It's kind of sad.

I remember reading that That 70s Show titled episodes from different seasons with song titles by different bands

Like Season 5 was all Who songs, and Season 6 was all Stones songs, I'm pretty sure I'm wrong w/ my examples but you get my point

the use of massive attack's "teardrop" in 'house m.d' has made me reconsider whether i hate massive attack.

i dig that song, anyway. the whole thing, not just the little bit they use for the show.

That was a brilliant show. Did you watch that thing on the 50 top tv shows in Australia? No Sean McCallef or however you spell his bloody name. That man is a genius! i love all those shows though from D-Gen on.

The Land Of The Lost :D

"Marshall, Will, and Holly on a routine expedition.
Met the greatest earthquake ever known.
High on the rapids it struck their tiny raft,
(Marshall, Will and Holly screaming "aahhhhh!! as they fell")
And plunged them down a thousand feet below.
To the Land of the Lost."

I'm gonna have to go with Bobby's World or the Wonder Years. I thought Crocker's version totally pegged the feel of that show.

The theme from MASH does indeed have words, you just don't hear them on the TV show. A character sang the song in the original movie. It's called "Suicide is Painless." It was also covered by Manic Street Preachers.

Me, I like Twin Peaks. And the Muppet Show!

I have a few...

This is the story all about how my life got flip-turned upside down, and I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, i'll tell you how I became prince of a town called bel air.

Salute Your Shorts -
We run we jump we swim and play, we row and go on trips...
"Get it right or pay the price"

Captain Planet, he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to zero.

heroes in a half shell... turtle power
when the evil shredder attacks, these turtle boys don't cut him no slack!

"whatever happened to predicatability, the milkman, the paperboy, even MTV"

...and don't forget the short-lived, California Dreams
"surf dudes with attitudes...
sky above, sand below, good vibrations..."

I prefer the M*A*S*H theme with the lyrics.

And ditto with the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Firefly has some great music too.
