More 5G Than Man
Here are two bands who released one classic album only to come back years later with a crappier one long after the joke had gotten stale.
The question is, which one of the above albums is a better artistic creation?
Tenacious D's debut is overlong, messy, but occasionally truly brilliant. Black actually has a good voice, and some of the instrumentation is fantastic. Plus, it has a clutch of really great songs. However, it's weighed down by pointless skits and a ton of filler. Spinal Tap's album is far more consistent and to the point, but it lacks the killer tracks of TD's album.
I may hold off on voting for a bit. I really like both of these.
