There is nothing charming about a guy who would wear a tie with food stains on it. And Jason, Alex and Michael all look great in those pictures that were posted!

It doesn't take THAT much effort for a guy to look sharp! I know guys who wear suits and are well-groomed, and they don't seem overly obssessed with their appearance at all. I've never heard one of them ask me if there's too much of a jasmine scent to their skin cream!

By this article's definition, Bono is undoubtedly a metrosexual. He takes care in how he dresses, he dyes his hair. She sings in a falsetto. Yeesh. Add the rest of the biys on that list. Hell, Adam wore a sarong. They all dressed in drag. It seems, to this woman, that unless the guy is hygenically challenged, he isn't a REAL man.

how about digging a little deeper than the narcissistically obvious: cosmetics and clothing?
So are women narcissistic when they care about their skin and clothes or just men?

This woman has some insecurity issues. I think she's afraid of her man being a little more maintained than she is.

I agree people can over do it. But I think it's about time men learn to take better care of their skin, hair, etc.

I don't want to be a hairy backed, greasy hair, bad complection, out of style flabby man. I refuse.

I recognize that I cross over into the male stereotype when I embrace football. But at least I'm able to retain my femininity while I do it. I appreciate the game. I am not trying to convince Marty Schottenheimer to insert me into his "cat" defense. Just remember that the next time you're eyeballing my loofah hanging in the shower. I certainly am aware that male vanity is here to stay, but you can still use a washcloth (or nothing) and a simple bar of Zest. It won't kill you.

This part really makes me mad.

Why is enjoying a sport crossing over "into a male stereotype"? Honestly. I hate that whole attitude of "I can watch football and be sexy, too."

And yet she forbids "metrosexuals" from using the same argument. Interesting. I should e-mail her my research paper on gender in sports. But she'd probably consider intelligence "unfeminine", you know?
