Its a leap year...therfore U2 should be part of the rumor mill

There's also been some talk about Green Day finally having a new album ready next year!

The only name on the actual release dates list that gets me excited really is Nada Surf, some others have me vaguely interested, not until R.E.M. announces it will 2008 start to be a stellar year. Possible material from U2, R.E.M., Bloc Party, etc.

The Radiohead inclusion would have been of great interest back in September haha.

Lots of stuff I've never heard of before. I'll very likely pick up the Nada Surf, Death Cab For Cutie, and Green Day. Am glad to see Shelby Lynne has a new album coming out - she's great.

The only thing I can honestly say I'm excited about is the REM release. Oh, and Radiohead - what can I say? I like having a hard copy of a CD.

I read somewhere about a new album from The Killers next year, too. But I can't remember where. It was mentioned in a news story for Sawdust--something about Sawdust being used to bridge the gap between Sam's Town and the new album they were working on that'd be released in 2008.

I'm very excited about the new Joe Jackson album
the songs stood up to his best when I saw him live a couple months ago

Stipe mentioned April 1 as the date the new R.E.M. will be released btw
