U2 MANAGER MCGUINESS HURT IN HORRIFIC HORSE FALL

Irish rockers U2's longtime manager PAUL MCGUINESS narrowly escaped
paralysis recently after he was involved in a horrific horse riding
accident.

The music mogul, who also manages the careers of singer PJ Harvey and
New York rockers The Rapture, had to be taken to hospital after being
thrown from a horse while riding near his estate in County Wicklow,
Ireland.

A source tells Ireland's Sunday World newspaper, "It was a pretty bad
fall and Paul broke his collarbone. He was rushed to hospital and was
in absolute agony.

"He's still getting over it and knows he has had a lucky escape."

It is for real... but it's old news! This happened weeks ago and Paul is fine. He even appears in some photos in the HQ threads in "Band Meetings and Sightings". Arm in a sling but still smiling :)

SWEET JESUS!
Glad it was just a collarbone...but that kills, belive me I know from experience

me too - the same one three times in three years!

OW! Three times! ONE IS GOOD FOR ME!

I got hit across the shoulder durning a lax game two years ago, I was out the rest of the season seeing as a couldn't raise my harm for a couple of week
:madspit:

My 8yr old broke her's at xmas. Within 2 weeks she was at swimming lessons (intensive 6 day course) which made her recovery awesomely fast! Mind you the bone wasn't totally broken, just snapped - which made a difference!! She went from barely being able to lift her arm on the Monday to doing full rotations with ease by the Friday!

I broke my collarbone too. Not fun, but my shoulder was dislocated too so I don't know which was causing it to hurt more. Anyways... glad PM is ok!
