Quicktime

I'm sure this topic has been posted many-a-time before, but in the search I just can't seem to find it- can anyone please tell me how to make videos and picture stills from quicktime?

if you are on a pc you can hit the print screen key (to the right of F12).

then open up paint and cttl+V (or right click, copy)

then you can crop what you want and save it....viola you have stills...

although for some reason my comp doesn't like to make stills
