Well, it's at least 6 hours going west from the Soo to Thunder Bay hugging Lake Superior's shores (Highway 17 - insert the Wendell Ferguson song "Rocks and Trees" here ) Then there's at least another 3 hours (actually I think it's more like 4) to get from Thunder Bay to the Ontario/Manitoba border

So how are to Ottawa/Montreal?

It's true.
I usually end up opening a window and cranking the fan up or something. And then maybe half an hour later I'm too chilly and I end up closing the window. And repeat.
