I work security at Q1 on the Gold Coast (Australia). for those that dont know it.. Tallest Residential Tower in Southern Hemisphere.. restuarant / bar etc at the top... anyway when the band where here in Nov last year for the V Tour. they popped in for some sightseeing...and i was their escort to the top... anyway I am from scotland.... of course bono commented on the accent..long way from home and all... after they had a look around and said there goodbyes... bono said to me 'god bless, have a safe night'... my response..yep wait for it... followed by turning extremely red... was... yer U2..... at least I got a laugh ..totally unitentional and apparantly I owe Larry $10.
