Well that was the plan, but Larry told Bono he didn't want to be a part of it. (after timing Bono's speeches already, that was the last straw!)

Adam didn't care either way, and as Bono composed the song on piano...he doesn't really need Edge either.

The only problem now is does Bono open for U2 solo, or does he play it in the "acoustic" section of the show?
