When do U2 go on stage for a 7:30 show?

When will U2 be on stage in NJ if the show starts at 7:30?

When do King of Leon go on and when do they end?

I assume they go on around 8, and leave about 8:30 or so.

Then I assume U2 hits the stage at 9 and ends before 11.

Is that right?

Yep, all 4 shows I was at in Chicago Kings of Leon started at precisely 7:30. Oh, and You'll know when U2 are about to hit the stage when you hear The Arcade Fire's 'Wake Up'. They turn it up nice and loud.

Me too! I was at 3 of four Chicago shows. Remembering the United Center lights going down, the chandelier lights turning red and then...."Everyone...Everyone...Everyone...!" Oh my god, I'm about to lose my mind!

I live in NY but couldn't get any tix to MSG for next week. Hopefully, the TM gods will smile on me on the day of the show.

Going to MSG this Saturday night (5/21) and have a few questions for those of you who have seen them on this tour already:

1) What time do they usually take the stage?
2) What time do they leave the stage?
3) How long do they play for? (I assume just about 2hrs.
4) How good or bad has KOL been? I saw them open for the Strokes back in'03; they're ok.....

Where did you see U2 this time around? It would be an understatement to say that I'm psyched for the MSG show, which will be my first of 4 shows on this tour....

8:55-9:05ish has been the norm

In Phoenix the showtime was 7:30 - U2 came on stage about 9:20 but I think that has been the only exception.
