Do a search for "U2 Boston" on eBay and you'll find people selling tickets for tonights show when the auction doesn't end until tomorrow. How dumb is that? (Pretty dumb in my opinion). Hopefully they paid a lot and have to eat the cost!

yeah i saw that - some guys got 10/4 tickets up but the auction only ends on the 11th and there's no buy-it-now option

Actually, dumber than the scalper will be anyone who actually bids on these auctions without ensuring they'll be able to get the tickets today or tomorrow.

welll the person on e-bay is selling the ticket, not the actuall show.

so frankly, the dumb person is anyone who bids on it, not the person who put it up for bid.

all they want you to do is contact them, they'll end the auction early & sell you the ticket. I bought 2 ga's like this back in May.
