There's a wonderful consignment shop (loads of nice clothes and furniture) in my neighborhood, and last year, at the same time I was considering buying myself nice bookshelves, someone brought in two Ikea shelves. They are now mine. My precious ....

Somebody give a shout out when the show is starting, listening to the 12/5 boot right now so the volume on my computer is down.

I'm boycotting this discussion of books so I don't have to think of my first preliminary exam for my PhD, which starts in 6 days (which is why I was the dork who read Toni Morrison in line all day yesterday).

Ikea... oh my..

I love the Pop Muzik cover, but prefer the remix they did for the intro to the Popmart shows, when it was still sung by M.

The arena staff cracked me up. When I first got there, a guy looked in my purse long enough to see a tampon, then let me get in line. At first, they were saying anyone who left the line for any reason would have to go to the back--no bathroom, no little walks to stretch, nothing. They were escorting people to the bathroom in groups of four. It was like they were scared we were all going to go nuts and destroy the entire building, so they were being ridiculously strict. By the end of the day, they realized we were harmless and let us move around. I got a camera in but decided to just enjoy the show and not worry about taking pictures.

Security inside was very good. The security guard near me was really nice, but he did his job well, too. Someone passed out and had to be carried out, and someone apparently got hurt in the ellipse during Pride (I didn't see what happened--only the commotion after it). They also broke up a few scuffles before anything got out of hand.

Sounds like an eventful GA section you had, lol. Nothing happened near me. Some guys cut in front of us and this guy was all sarcastic saying 'oh, hey thank god you got here, I was saving this spot for you' LOL!

Good times...

Ooh, but U2's version of Pop Muzik gets huge points for having Bono singing in that sexy low range of his. My, oh my.

M,m,m,m good!
If you don't see me posting in a while, food's to blame for sure.
I'm hungry and it's dinner time.
But I don't want to miss the party either.
What to do, what to do?

I'm surprised I'm hungry. My friend and I had a late lunch after the movie at PF Chang's.

 PF Chang's ... So good ...
