(un)read threads

this just began recently, but now threads are being marked as unread or new posts (with the white opened envelope) after i've just read it, and nobody new has posted in it.

it isn't a big deal, but it is misleading. is it a problem with my browser or cp settings?

no, it only happens while i'm using another computer. for some reason my computer at work ( boss is on vacation) does not ever tell me that threads are read. for example, even this thread that i started, it had the white open envelope the whole time.

that's okay. i see it is only that computer so it has to be something with that browser i think.

Trying clearing the cache / cookies then try again.

This has been happening to me since I've been coming here, on multiple computers, and with fresh installs of both explorer and firefox.


ETA - see? It just happened to me, I clicked on the forum link, went to another thread, and then back on the forum link again, and this thread appeared as unread. Tres frustrating, but I guess I've learned to live with it...
