I hope this doesn't sound like a bad idea, but maybe there can be a division between North American sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey ) and International sports (Rugby, Soccer...) to keep everything local.

I've seen threads were fans of one sport trash another because it's not as good as that sport (ie: American football vs. rugby) and maybe a sub-forum division would work.

It's totally cool if no one agrees, I don't mind.

Well in that case there's probably not enough interest to split them up that much.
