editing posts

how long do you have to edit a post before it says "edit by KhanadaRhodes at..." at the bottom? i'm thinking it is like 30 seconds or something because sometimes i've made a post at, say, 8:31 and it'll say i edited it at 8:31.

it's rather annoying and i was wondering if the time could be extended just a teensy bit? like to at least a minute or two?

Good idea Khanada. I've often had that problem myself... which makes me look very indecisive often at times. But I thought it was usually a minute time lapse before it has that little italicized message. We should time these things!

It's actually 1 minute, but I've gone ahead and changed it to 2 minutes.

Why aren't we allowed to edit our posts after 60secs? It's kinda annoying...

sorry, I'm just getting used to all these restrictions..

You're allowed to edit your posts for 60 minutes, not seconds.

the 60 secs thing mentioned was just so the "edited by..." doesn't appear at the bottom.
