I'm never going to live down that typo, huh?

(The one damn time I *actually* make a typo, and this is what happens...)

Saw Natalie Merchant last month in Ann Arbor, twice. I had tickets for the show that night, got them for my mom. Then the day before the show I found out she was doing an in store performance and CD signing at the bookstore across the street from the Michigan Theater.

I have one more show left, Muse in Columbus in October.

Oh and if you want to see a group of special people all in one room, go see a Hole concert. Just make sure you see in in Detroit, for some reason Courtney Love doesn't seem to do anything crazy at shows in Detroit.

May 7 - Broken Social Scene, NYC

August 8 - The xx, NYC (free)
August 18 - MGMT, NYC
September 30 - The Gaslight Anthem, NYC (2nd Row!)
October 24 - Muse, Newark, NJ
Never made it to Metric, but that's OK, will see them open for Muse next month.

Add to the list:

September 10 - Interpol, Brooklyn - already attended, tix went on sale the day before the show
November 3 - Blonde Redhead, NYC
December 2 - Brandon Flowers, NYC

Brandon Flowers is (probably!) the final concert of 2010 for me (although I see Spiderman on Dec. 4 ), although who knows...still keeping an eye on The Strokes and others, although any concerts after this will probably be in 2011.

My crazy weekend is next weekend.

I'm sorry to admit I have to pass on the Lady Gaga concert. It clashes with my holiday in Australia. In return, I'll see some shows there down under.

Saw Peter Hook doing Unknown Pleasures tonight. It was fun, if not a tad strange....

October is good, but not as good as September was.

This month:
Arcade Fire Friday night
Das Rheingold by simulcast Saturday morning ( )
Russian Circles (again) on October 23
and maybe an organ recital October 24

And maybe, just maybe Pelican on October 30. Maybe.

I was going to try to take my mom to see South Pacific this month, but I don't think that's going to happen.
