That said, it's over and done with so soon you hardly care. There was a time when I took it as a badge of honour to find the good even in stuff like Pulk, but now I just don't care.

Yes, it's certainly not an offensively bad song.

True Love Waits

I still don't like True Love Waits, but Let Down amazes me every time I hear it.

I'm with you. And I don't mind the placement either - they needed some sort of break between Pyramid Song and You and Whose Army?

Yes. Niels even left a comment which I deleted

But that line has been sung before.

I googled "I'll drown my beliefs" and aside from "to have your babies" google suggested "to have you be in peace". Looks like some older live versions have the line "to have you be in peace", which I have to admit I prefer.

"to have you be in peace" is a much clumsier and less interesting line and I highly doubt it was ever sung that way. It just shows up as that on shitty lyric sites because of idiots like you who thought that was the line.

Interesting that you, the shittiest idiot of all, have the temerity to label others as so.

'true love waits in haunted attics', is pretty much the line that makes it a special song, if you ask me.

Which is why the next line bothers me so much, it takes me out of the song slightly
